The purpose of the Marion County Education Association
is to promote among educators the highest standards of
professional practice; to carry out the local function of the
West Virginia Education Association and the National
Education Association; to carry on a program designed to
give practical and legal help to members; to encourage
growth through a mutual exchange of ideas; to encourage
active participation in the solution of educational problems
in the county and state; and to work for salary benefits and
conditions of employment commensurate with the dignity
of the teaching profession.
